SILHOUETTE DONATES PROCEEDS TO CANCER CENTER

“Treasure Your Chest” Event  
Help fight cancer and find a “treasure” at the same time.  The Silhouette, Easton, MN is converting an area of the store to a “treasure room” on October 24, 2009.  The treasure room will contain bargains of all shapes and sizes-from wedding gowns, flower girl dresses, bridesmaid dresses, shoes, accessories,   and much more.  Need something for Halloween?  Are you a member of a local theatre group?  Perhaps you know someone who is looking for items for a drama department, quilt club, or church group who could benfit by finding just the right "treasure".  This can be a ‘spooktacular’ chance to find just what you need.

Come in, unearth your treasure, make a donation, and the treasure is yours!  It’s that simple!  All donations go to the Naeve Health Care Foundation, Albert Lea, MN.  The money will be deposited in the foundation account and designated for the Cancer Center.  

The staff at The Silhouette reminds you to have an annual mammogram.  Mammograms can find breast cancers earlier, when they are easier to treat and the chances of survival are higher.  October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but many organizations are using this time to remind all cancer patients that there are ways to make their battles against the disease a little easier.
