The Silhouette was established in 1981 on the Kalis farm in southern Minnesota and moved to the Village of Easton in 1987.  As the wedding store business grew the space became crowded, so in the late 1990's an addition was made.  The bridal store continued to serve local brides and grooms as well as wedding parties from the Mankato, Albert Lea, northern Iowa and the entire southern Minnesota area.  The brides and grooms of the early eighties now had children who were old enough to go to prom, and some old enough to get married, so they naturally turned to The Silhouette for the prom gowns, tuxedo rentals, bridesmaid dresses and wedding gowns again.  This time the 'parents of the wedding' would not only find the perfect outfits for the entire wedding party, but special occasion gowns and tuxedo rentals for the parents.

As business continued to grow, the need for more space-from additional dressing rooms, prom gown display areas, wedding accessories, and just the customers-led to another addition in 2004.  The Silhouette has expanded to approximately 5000 square feet to serve the needs of the brides, grooms, bridesmaids, flower girls-the entire wedding party.  The friendly, professional staff of The Silhouette bridal store continues to serve the southern Minnesota and northern Iowa consumer who has a special occasion to attend, and you will look your best!  Stop in and you will see why The Silhouette continues to grow!
